A first time BMW X1 owner, collected my car and visited two companies, KLAR and another one in the same area on the same day.

Reason why I chose KLAR was
A) Patience in explaining even before going down. Zi Wei (you can link up with him via his website) explained the benefits and the package via whatsapp. He's very patient despite my novice questions and really took time to explain!

B) Actual face to face conversation, met up with Winson (Zi Wei's partner), who has close to 30 years experience in this area. Spent a good 45 mins with me explaining all my questions, how to clean interior, exterior, take care of my car, answering package questions. Zi Wei who came by later also answered some queries too. They even gave tips on how to deal with Bird Poo! They even invited me to drive my car into their workshop and under the super bright LED lights, told me where and how the coating will protect the car.

C) At no point felt forced to get their coating. What was clear was their sincerity to help/advise and to do a great job. (unlike others)

D) When I collected the car, it was not "Please sign up for our packages", They explained how I could self care and left the decision to me. I went for it as it was quite cost efficient to maintain it for 1 year or so (the price included 2 time maintenance packages). No pushing. Best of all, the time spent with Winson on car collection he shared how to clean/wipe/what car detergent to use etc very patiently. (It helped that I collected close to the end of their work day also)

E) Eric is Winson's colleague and he is the one that did the coating and oversee by Winson. Superb job!

F) Even after a week, they are still answering my ad hoc queries on how to take care of the car!

It was a very good educational experience as I never did a coating costing S$1K+ with 2 times maintenance package (always just waxing or simple polishing). Really can see the benefits of the Graphene coating!

Did the KlarCOAT Titanium package and was served by Eric and Winson. Both of them are very friendly and customer-oriented. They take the time to explain the details to you and evaluate your car, they pay special attention to the individual car to get the best results depending on your car condition. I went to Klar Details and spoke to Zhiwei with a heavy heart. You see, I went to get a new bumper and side skirts for my car. It was cheap, included spray painting. $2,xxx. Not only the paint job was bad, they messed up my car leaving tons of contaminants on the surfaces of my car, bonnet, roof and boot. It was stuck so bad that it can't be washed off. Me being "gei kiang" went to buy a clay bar and clay it off. Results were good at first coz the surfaces felt smooth again, but when I wipe off the water and see. To my bloody horror, it was full of scratches!!!!! It was really bad, the picture you see of the before photo doesn't show how bad it was. Trust me it was so bad that I thought I had to respray the whole car. Thanks to Zhiwei and team, he assured me that they can help remove most of it. Usual time they take was 7 hours. They spent more than 11 hours to restore mine. I'm so appreciative of their efforts, patience and above all, their passion on detailing. My Maser came back looking like it just came out of the showroom when I first took it. Awesome job they have done. I can't express my gratitude on how they've revived my Maser. Sent my car for coating and I was quite impressed with the output. It has been raining almost daily and I was quite worried about the disruption to the polishing. Luckily Klar have got curing lamps to fasten the hardening of the coating. And I was able to drive off in the rain with no damage to the coating. I wipe dry the moment I reached home.
