Went to Sound Flux today to install car alarm and Pioneer active subwoofer. Both prices quoted were reasonable and not over priced. Fred the owner, did a nice installation on my Vios without rushing through the process. He helped tidying up my car's messy wires before starting installation. He also assure me he will do a proper job. The waiting process can be long since he's a one man operation. Those who wish to pay a visit, i suggest you make an appointment 1st. Overall, i am happy with the experience and went home a satisfied customer.

Was introduced to Fred for audio solutions years back. Ever the polite, friendly & Approachable guy who is really passionate and takes pride in his work.
He right the wrong on the speakers' polarity which could have led to disastrous consequences.

His worksmanship is very neat and tidy and definitely no qualms in ensuring his installation is done right.

His charges are very reasonable for his effort.

I had some problem with my car security alarm on Sunday and obtained Fred's contact in SgCarmart directory - lucky for me, he happened to be at his garage on Sunday. Over the phone, he was gave a quick diagnose of my problem and identified that my buzzer was down.

I asked to have it fixed on the same day and he agreed to wait for me. Wasting no time, I drove to his garage and there he was, waving to me as I drove pass his garage. In less than 15 min, he tested, verified on his earlier speculation and had the buzzer replaced. I extremely happy with his friendly service and honest personality - highly recommended!

My regular audio shop although i stay quite far from toh guan.
Today just installed IROAD V9 by Fred.
Done up in 1.5hrs.

Excellent workmanship. Cabling and wiring is nicely done up.
Tested the IROAD V9, excellent. Its even better than Blackvue DR650GW!

Call or msg him before going down.
The only trustworthy shop you must go.

This is my second review about Soundflux (Fred). I changed my ride and dekitted at his place. Stored all my old parts there and reinstalled thereafter.
He persuaded me to take out my better components speakers and put in two normal old speakes back to the old car. This already saved my at least $300 if i had bought from him. What a guy!

The reinstallation of the old stuffs including front door SP was slower than expected because there were drop-in customers (new ones) which Fred apologetically sought my understanding. Considering that he needs new customers, I understand and obliged. That day, he was working overdrive. I postponed some work to another day so that Fred would not go bonkers.

Well, it took longer (and over two days) but I still give him 5 stars for his excellent customer service because he is not pushy, is diligent in his work, and humble.

I have recommended another friend to Fred because he is someone i trust.

I am writing this at 11:35pm, after speaking to Fred, who is still at the shop working on my car....this guy is one of a kind, and one cool cat - passionate about his craft, knowledgeable about almost anything automotive (no kidding). I recently bought a second hand Subaru R1 for my wife, and Fred turned the car into a brand new, rejuvenated vehicle...2 ch DVR, 2-din head unit, coaxials, subwoofer, new alarm/remote, door, bonnet, floor pan sound dampening (he is completing these as I am writing this) - all neatly done and reasonably priced.

Even though myself (and the other reviewers) may be generating more business than a one-man-operation like his can handle, I can tell you that there will be nowhere else I will EVER go to except Soundflux if I need certain add-ons done.

If there was additional stars to give, this man would deserve at least six in each category, maybe seven for customer service!

This is the second time I am so excited to come back to feedback about Fred. While most workshops were closed for the day. Again, Fred was willing to accommodate to my evening timing. He took about 45 minutes to work on my faulty fog light connection from 8pm. And to my surprise, he did not charge me a single cent! He said "its a small job with simple wiring" And this is not the first time he did not charge for his services. When my head unit was faulty, instead of asking me to change to a new unit. He removed the whole unit so that i can hand carry to the service center. He even loan me one of his spare head units. I thought you can only expects these kind of premium services when you are his VIP customers. But he only set up a humble ICE in my ride which is still playing solid after 4 years.

If many wonders, he would charge a premium for his other services. You would be pleasantly surprised. He will always exceed your expectation! He indeed treats his regulars very well. I am going back to upgrade my head unit soon. Thank you very much Fred!

Well.... suffice to say.... this review is LONG overdue...! I'm not sure how to really write this... i guess i shall write this as a short note to my new friend whom i consider myself lucky to have come into acquaintance with. FRED! next time i see you..... as they say "GIVE THAT MAN A TIGER...!".... and in your case, i know it's a couple of bottles of TIGER that is your guilty pleasure... hahaha! i did notice your weakness for Tiger....! ok ok so Cheers FRED!.... for your untiring efforts to get my VIP-Styled JAGUAR XJ Sports fitted with your recommended DB Component Speakers systems.... you:-

1. Worked for 12 hours straight on my car ... with me lingering in the background and sometimes being a nuisance...?!
2. Gave me honest advice on what to do to get better quality sound
3. Recommended to me different set-ups with ref. to my expectations and of course...... MANAGED the PRICE issues in a fair way
4. Did not try to bullshit me with your knowledge on audiophile equipment ... though i knew you could if you wanted to....
5. Was so very very very patient to troubleshoot the wiring in my Jag... yes those Brits are to blame.... i do apologise for the TEDIOUS WIRING CRAP you had to put up with in my install
6. Never ONCE showed impatience or tried to take easy way out when the clock hit 10pm and we were still not done.... AKA no sound yet...
7. Pushed on and got things to finally work at 11 pm-ish,....
8. Seriously did not detect impatience from you.... although your girl was also waiting for over 2 hours already in your office....
9. Still bothered to wipe down my interior with same good quality cleaning stuff used by SIA in their business class cabins
10. Placed towel on my wood interior near Head Unit to prevent scratching the wood....
11. ALL in ALL... F&%king good quality work and NEAT wiring job internally too....!

NOW Wait for the kicker guys and gals.... i bought only entry level component stuff from FRED and he installed my own reverse camera and head unit which i brought in myself to his shop without complaining like what other shops will.

So, in summary, i am hooked by his quality of work and EXTREME passion.... and i am returning to Fred again to do a sub in my trunk next...!

I am really anal about getting things done neatly and cost-effectivlely and FRED scores a home-run on both accords....

Fred, i really do appreciate your integrity and passion and i hope i will be able to strike 4D and get you to do one of your 30K plus jobs in my ride sometime soon... but for now, i shall live vicariously through you and your amazing tales of the audiophile world...! "Give that man a TIGER!....."

Not sure how to put it. I was looking for an installer and spend more than a week reading the local forums. After hearing of a very unique installer (Fred) who has a messy outlet but does his work with passion, I decided to check him out

I recently sent him an SMS not sure whether he would consider working on my simple car. He called back and we chatted. He sounded very earnest and had no airs. I was interested and made an appointment to do SP to my doors.

During the time when he fixed the doors, he also redid my speakers which was DIY. He corrected a polarity error done by my previous installer. He wanted to help do my tweeters which I did not install. Due to my time constraints, he agreed to do it when I next visit him.

I paid him as agreed feeling that he did his work not for money but for his passion. He willingly shared his stories and knowledge and was never pushy.

I will certainly return and recommend him to my friends as well.

price is good according what Fred delivered.

sound quality is there. it really comfort my ears!

long waiting time, bcoz he is on one man show.
it is suppose to be a good thing.. bcoz he really do his job, he allow no messy job

Was very impressed with Fred's patience and knowledge on car audios...changed a new reverse sensor, got myself a pair of nice decent speakers, cleared all the rubbish wirings done by the previous owner.. Will definately go back for my head unit upgrade!

The loudspeaker from Moving Air sounds really sweet...better sounding than those more expensive brands I used to have...now my customers can also enjoy beautiful music when I bring them for viewing...:))) hahaha...thanks again Fred.

The BEST place I've been in terms of customer service & workmanship. Even the pricing is compatible in the market so its really value for $$..Job very meticulously done & neat with all the wiring..Even when the previous shop did a half past six job on my connections, they still had the patience to get everything right & explain to me the areas that were all wrongly done. Well done! Im never gonna go to another audio shop!

Went to install my Moving Air Clarity MkII this morning. Was totally a very satisfied customer and must compliment Fred for his passion, knowledge, excellent customer service and skills in fixing up the set. He treated you like a friend than a customer and willing to reach his shop at 9am and start work due to my request. He is honest and only recommend what you need. Thus, highly recommended to starters who do not have much knowledge about ICE and afraid to be conned by other workshops. Also, done my homework of going around listening to popular brands before deciding on moving air. For budget of 300-400. You should give this pair of speakers a chance to prove to you its huge potential of producing audiophile quality sound despite that this is a local brand. Thanks and Kudos to Fred!!
