Terrible terrible terrible and disgusting work ethics. Never send your car there, so unprofessional and there is a lack of service. I would recommend NOT to go there. The service staff was rude and unprofessional. Refuse to give a quote at all; Refuse to give a break down of possible damage areas and refuse to give a proper quote. Kept mentioning and treating me like an idiot, and besides kept saying "No body would give a quote on paper" When I asked for documentation of the quote. And worst of all, the lady staff (whom I'm assuming is the wife or a long term staff) was hesitant in providing her services and professional opinion and eventually WALKED away from me as I was asking her to give me a ROUGH breakdown of the areas of damage. The lack of professionalism is appalling. Clearly she does not want to do our business, then what's the point of asking me to come down to show her for a quotation? I do not understand.

Worst of all, I called the boss Mr Chong, and SAME thing. Shady answers and a lack of professionalism and kept saying nobody in the industry would give you a rough quote (totally not true - and that's a FACT as I have been to other workshops before that doesn't behave like this) I honestly had such a bad experience there and I would recommend everyone not to go there unless you are looking for a frustrating provoking experience. The refusal to give a rough quote appalled and shocked me from a CAR REPAIR place.

I am not an unreasonable person but this apparent lack of work ethic and professionalism makes me wonder how this business can actually survive. If you cannot even communicate in a reasonable way that is polite and decent, don't be in this line of business of service. I don't think it is nice for someone to walk away when talking to a client.

There is no service, just pure unprofessionalism and rudeness.

Please change the way you approach customers or run your business. This is not a way to treat anyone. I am by no mean an unreasonable reason and this experience has showed me how disgusting some business owners can be.

I will never go back to this workshop again.

I damaged my car on 23 Feb, Sun. Two doors and front bumper were scratched (horizontal), side mirror broke, and front side door dented.

After browsing through this website for a workshop near my place, I decided to give Woon Weng workshop a try.

When the mechanic view my car, he estimated the cost to be more than $1000 and will take at least 5 days to repair (I actually get a quick quote from another workshop near the place when I met the accident. He estimate cost to be around $600).

I was taken aback by the higher cost, but the mechanic assured me that no other workshop will quote less than $1k. Then he persuaded me to claim my insurance, which I didn't want to.

As I didn't want to look around for other quotes, I left my car there for repair. Eventually they quoted me is $1,350 over phone (with a $50 discount. originally $1.4k)

It's more than a week now. I still haven't received news of the car. I called several times yesterday and each time they promised to call back but didn't.

Finally today a lady returmed my call. She said 'your car is ready, BUT the side mirror is not done yet. If I really want my car quick, you can drive away without the mirror.' That's exactly what she said.

I can't believe what I just heard. The broken mirror is the main reason I send my car for repair! The lady continued to say that the quote of $1350 did not include cost of replacing the mirror.

I was furious. Anyway... my car is still in their workshop. They just managed to source the mirror but it has not yet reached their workshop. Not sure when I received my car.

Truly disappointed with their service.

I went to Woon Meng Motor workshop for two times for accident repair. For the two times, they did a good job on repair for my vehicle, the repair duration was fast too. A view from their workshop, they services wide variety type of vehicles.

Most importantly is that they are friendly, honest, reliable and value for money. I highly recommended Woon Meng Motor to anyone who wanted to do vehicle services, repair and accident claim.
