Purchased 4pcs of Goodyear Assurance Triplemax from Soh Brothers last week. I called up few tyre shops to enquire pricing and Soh Brothers offered better price. Over the phone they informed me that tyre is manufactured this year (2016) and made in Thailand. I confirmed the order but when go to their shop to install the tyre I discovered that the date of manufacture was more than 1 year ago, i.E. 1315 and 1515. I accepted this mistake cos I feel at this age tyre still ok. But when I reach home I discovered the tyre are not made in Thailand, but manufactured in Malaysia. The made in Malaysia print is very small letters, I did not see it when inside their shop due to poor lightings.

Went down today to change my tyres. The boss came out and I asked for a particular model of tyres. He recommended me Yokohama Blue earth. Said made in Japan and also low noise. Price wise is resonable with slightly on the cheap side.
So, I let them started and was eating bread when the wife came out to offer me a soft drink.
Overall good experience. Friendly and good customer service.

This is a no frills workshop, with no fancy lounge to enjoy a coffee while your tyres get fixed.
But the prices beats anyone else in the market. I have changed tyres with Frankie for more than 10 years. Always pay in cash to get the best price.
Do call Frankie to check for availability.

Came here last Fri on 24/10/2014 late morning and this is my 3rd time here already over the years (Refer to my previous 2 reviews). Service is as prompt as before, and more importantly, as value for money as before. Would definately recommend this workshop, but do give the boss a call first to check for desired tyre availabilities prior to going down.

Call up to check on the GY Effcient Grip manage to get discount onsite during the installation . The installation was fast .
I was also surprise that he remember my old ride which most of the tires was purchased from him too.(it been 3 year since i last visited Soh tyres)this is what i call good customer service.

Great and Friendly service by Frankie. Was quoted $120 per tyre (before trade-in) for 195/55R15 Yokohama BluEarth AE-50 tyres and price is inclusive of balancing for all wheels (Frankie was the one doing the balancing). Fast Efficient service and was impressed enough that i changed my battery with them too ($115 for Amaron Battery). Shop space a tad small but the workers somehow manage to work on 3 vehicles simultaneously.

That indian chap in the shop did a lousy balancing job for the new tires that i fixed. car was shaking like crazy when travelling 80km/hr. Rims was scratched and new dents were found.

Tires are fresh and pricing are good but don't expect fine workmanship.

Originally intend to change front tyres but lady boss suggested to change the back tyres given their age. Was quoted much more reasonable price than my own car dealership, eventually went for Yokohama tyres for my little Fiat 500. Service was quick, tyres have no problems so far. Highly recommended if you are first-timers like me!

I was there to change my Yokohama Earth 1 tyres today.
The boss and workers are friendly. Price was fair and it was done within 20 minutes.
Worth going if you are staying around or frequent the area.

Read the rave reviews about Soh Tyre and decide to drop Frankie a phone call to enquire on the new Yokohama Advan dB(supposedly the next gen Yokohama tyre with the famed silence of the DNA dB Decibal coupled with the Grip of the Advan range). Frankie didn't have the stock in his workshop and so offered to order the stock from the supplier. Told me to call him in two weeks and as expected two weeks later the tyres were waiting in his workshop. Headed down the following day and the change of tyres was fast and efficient, Frankie even offered to fix a loose wire in one of my horns as I had complained that my horn sounded weird. Pricing is extremely reasonable too. Will be definitely back here for my next set of tyres.

Car battery getting weak so decided to drop by frankie's shop to change battery. Price is reasonable cheap and customer service still as fantastic as before.. Noticed they change new wheel balancing machine and new tyres changing machine. Will go back to change my tyres there.

Very nice Uncle who's willing to wait for me past his closing shop time. Price reasonable and he's really friendly. Thumbs up.

Last I changed 2 of my tyres to GR90 with Uncle Frankie was Dec 2010 (refer to earlier review). It's time to change the other 2 tyres, so I called up Uncle Frankie to inquire about his GR90 stock. Was told by him that there's no more stock at this point in time, but he has available stock for the Yokohama Earth 1 which he said was more of a comfort tyre than performance tyre. Decided to go with it, so now I'm running on 2 new front Earth 1, and 2 existing rear GR90. Uncle Frankie is as friendly as a year+ ago. Changing of 2 tyres + tyre rotation for all 4 wheels took about 20 mins. Yes, definately a pleasant experience again...

Order a set of ku36. Cheapest price I can find after calling several shops. Install on 20th March 2012. Tyres dom 52th week 2011 !!!!!
