This is my second time at the Senang Crescent Groomwerks (note the spelling). And they did not disappoint! We are not one to take care of the car. But when we send it for servicing, we do the works - to give the car a bit of much deserved pampering after a period of neglect. And the car came out looking like new. I'd recommend the Senang Crescent outlet. Good and honest service. Will definitely be back.

My car was sent to this workshop for repair of bumper after a traffic accident. I do not use this workshop for my normal car maintenance.
Boss was very rude and abusive and scolded me when I turned up before he called. He threatened not to repair my car and said that my car was in his hand, giving the impression what all customesr feared, the repair will be delayed or the car may be damaged. He kept asking me to go away and to claim taxi fare from the person who hit my car. I saw no reason to go away and stayed to look at the work done on my car. True to my fear, he delayed the work (actually left with inspection, polish and wash) to my car. Once in a while, he came to update me with the progress and taunted me with "Thank you for waiting". I never felt so tortured. As feared, he polished my car just before the closing hour of his workshop which was 9.52 pm.
I was there at 6.15 pm and the car was sent at 9.15 am, and he estimated the repair done btw 7-8 pm or earliest 6 pm.
As a boss, he should have impeccable customer service.

Average service, deproving over the years  Posted on 27-Apr-2015

Had been with them for more than 4 years at the Esplanade branch. Started off very pleased with their customer service and workmanship. However, the service and more importantly the workmanship has deteriorated over the years. Recently, after sending my car for the regular waxing, I was appalled when I found left over white lotion at crevices of the vehicle nor cleaned off properly. I was even more surprised when I opened up the bonnet and found white powdery specks all over the engine bay probably left behind after the polishing. Unless there is marked improvements, it is unlikely that I will renew my membership with them.

Used to patronise them few years back when I took up a basic package. As mentioned by the others, Yong will saleman talk and try to hard sell you anything he can sell, but I only took up the basic package of 4 sessions anyway.

As expected, 1st session was good, everything up to standard.

2nd session was substandard. Wax not properly cleaned off. stains in hidden areas not removed.

3rd session was a nightmare. I don't know what the guys did but a number of areas at body lines had the paint polished off, revealing greyish metal surface. Went back the next day to complain to Yong and he agreed to bear the respray charges. Arranged for Yong to met at my own paint shop for quotation and he foot the bill.

Thereafter, I didn't bother going back anymore. There was a lapse of 1 or 2 years before I decided to do the final session, before i sold the car off.

On the hindsight, shouldn't have patronised them as it was not worth the price and trouble.

All Owners, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Remove all Valubles from your car. I forgot to remove my Money pouch containing over M$1000 Ringgit, My Passport and my Cash Card when I left my car with Yong on 09-Nov-13 at 11.10am, But by the time I remembered and sms'd him about 2 hours later to remove the above item's. I received a reply from Yong another 2hours later and was told he has safe kept my items. It was when I came back to collect, I realised that my My Money Pouch was STOLEN and the Video footage in my car during the theft was switched off. The workers are CROOKS and THIEFS. Please DONT be a VICTIM like me. A Police report has been lodged on the same day. Waiting for outcome while the investigation is on the way. Owners BEWARE of your Items.

Been using them for 15 years. Each time package end Yong will be very desperate to sell you. Though the quality of the job is bad, I will always renew based on old friendship. Sorry will not ever sign up again as the quality of the polish is really bad and they will always damage some parts of your car. Those who still want to sign up despite reading all the bad review, good luck. The bad attitude and poor worksmanship will catch up with you one day. That's the day that you realize there are so many better car groomers out there that can really bring the shine out of your car and not merely putting cream coat on your car. Why did I take 15 years to break this friendship?

I post this review to alert fellow car owners what to expect from Groomwork's owner Yong. I sent in my car for grooming and as usual Yong will upsell, hardsell and I paid almost 0.5 K for a so called special nano coating. Price aside. The next day after the car was return I try to pull up the electrical rear window blind and noticed that both sides were dislodged and the screens torn at the corner. Immediately sent the car to Yong and taken him some time to figure out how to hook it back. He has agreed to pay for the replacement screens on both rear window thinking it may not be very much but later found out that it only come in set with the motor and cost more than 2k. His attitude changed and refused to honor the agreement and claimed that his people did not cause damage to the screens.
So fellow car owners, go to this joint at your own risk. Not only charge you dearly but will definitely deny responsibility if there is any damage done to your car. It will never be the groomer's fault.
I have terminated all unused services and will never go back.

Was there to get a quote and was hard sell to get a package. Staff's attitude changed once I mentioned I'll want to consider. Cannot imagine how the service will be like once you actually PAID upfront with no recourse. Extremely bad service & attitude.

Went there to polish my ride during CNY time only. Signed a package with them, pricing is acceptable though location is far now consider Commonwealth branch is closed. Intially arranged an appointment with them and on the day to send over and was told my car is not in the list but was arrg at their HQ which I spec to be at Commonwealth. Graciously they try to squeeze my car in the slot. Appreciated. Collection of car time. On the whole, vehicle is well done but some areas quite put me off like my door handle edges is full of swirl marks and the chrome handles corner are affected and my new brake calipers are stained with chemical and leave stains which I cannot remove. The next few sessions I will be there to inspect the process to prevent such issue from occurring again. Words of advice, I think perhaps the sloppiness of the job is due to the peak period when many cars are preparing for CNY so they might rush through the process.

did my car grooming few days ago. very pleased. 1) most of the scratch marks were gone 2) transfers to & fro mrt/home/shopping mall provided, they can even lend you a car if needed 3) friendly staffs 4) my car looks just came out from showroom 5) remove dents in mins of course i cant say they are perfect, staff did not vacuum my boot. but yong, owner will get his staff to do it when i go for car wash next week. overall, very pleased. highly recommended, i can say this as i had a very lousy job done by joseph mobile car grooming few months ago.

Sent my 6 month old car for paint protection at the Esplanade and was very pleased with the result. There were many hairline scratches and water marks (not mentioning a large amount of scratches on the bonnet) which disappeared after the grooming! I've only sent my car there for washing since a few years back.
