Hi guys just to sent my appreciation and kudos to the team at Chuan Sing and the boss Kenny for doing installation of my sound system for my Mazda 6. The team took time to understand my preferences and to configure a system to my budget and to make sure that I had a good sound system for my ride. Did 3 way Focal at the front with Steg amp dsp and GZ coaxial for rear with semi active set up with sub and tuning. Running in the speakers and enjoying the sound! Thanks for the good job. Excellent service and customer satisfaction.

I was introduced to Chuan Sing by my brother who had installed his audio in his Honda Civic at the Serangoon Gardens Branch several years ago. Impressed by how the different setup was matched together, I sent my wife Honda Fit to have her sound system installed 4 years ago. Never regretted the Focal system which produced a full bodied sound.
Got my Estima last year and decided to go for the higher end setup of Mosconi, Micro Precision and Alpine. In my years of driving, this was the ultimate in car audio experience with clarity derived from vocals and absolute separation of instruments in almost all genre of music played through the setup.
Just last week, got a CRV that replaced my wife's previous Honda Fit, and similarly, wanted to use the space to get better sound out of the system. Was recommended Steg amp to go with a new range of Focal speakers. Without burn in, the sound was already great out of the box and looking forward for complete burn in to enjoy the music.
The owner is always patient to walk you through the setup, and would not hesitate to discourage you from spending unnecessarily. The staff and the installers are always friendly and are passionate in their job.
Besides audio, you can also have your soundproofing and solar film installed professionally.
For people who are serious in their music and wants to get the best car audio setup, I would strongly recommend Chuan Sing!

Just a shout out to Chuan Sing Auto Accessories at Serangoon Garden for fantastic service.

Found out my 4 month old Blackvue stopped recording this morning and nothing I did helped it. Called up Chuan Sing since I installed it there and went down in the afternoon to let them have a look at it. The mechanic took it out, tested it and exchanged both front and back cameras for a brand new piece. No questions asked, no payment made. Now this is what warranties should be about. 1-1 exchange and fuss free.

Great job to Chuan Sing Auto!

Bought and installed a blackvue 2ch cam + cell b battery from them few months back. Dropped my car off and went off for lunch nearby. It was installed and everything done even before i finished my lunch.

Recently the battery just died out of a sudden while driving. Went back and replaced it with no questions asked after a short verification.

Intending to install my ICE and soundproof with them soon when i don't need to use the car as frequently. Only thing is, its not exactly cheap. Prices are slightly above avg, not forgetting the GST as well. Other then this downside, received very good service by the boss and the technician.

Took my new car on 31 Dec 15. Chuan Sing is the authorized audio installer for my car. I contacted Ms Wendy to tell her some of my upgrades like Focal component speaker and installation of my extra in-car camera. The technician's workmanship is good. Few days alter, I went to ask about the app to be used for my Pioneer 8750, the technician is able to tell where to download the app to sync with my audio. Thumbs Up! Will definitely go back again.

Went to them for installation of Blackvue DVR. Speaking with the members involved with the installation, I get the sense that they have done this a million times across various brand of vehicles as well as across all models! Considering that my vehicle is a common German marque but the model is not that common but they could immediately made many comments about the uniqueness as well as sharing lots of ideas and recommendation on the location to mount says a lot about their experience!

After installation, the team lead spent 20mins going through in detail on all the functionality of the DVR and I am must say that is really good service!

As installation came with my purchase, I am not able to comment on the value for money aspect.

Was at their serangoon gardens branch recently to replace my faulty HU.
I was recommended a pioneer deh-80prs and proceeded with the installation as the price was reasonable.

Was back a week later to replace the subwoofer as well with a pioneer ts-wx120a (got this as a replacement as i needed my boot space). Also rewired my setup to an active setup and it made a whole lot of difference! Tuning was done professionally. Overall i think it was money well spent!

Bought a dual cam video recorder for my car at SITEX show on Thursday (27/11), and was given a list of recommended workshops for to go to for installation. Called up this particular workshop at Sin Ming as it was close to my place. Was given a quote of $80 for installation of the dual camera with a Power Magic Pro from them.

I then made an appointment and went to the workshop. Upon arrival at the workshop, I was served by a Malaysian mechanic who knew his stuff very well and explained every thing to me, and he did a great job on that in terms of knowledge and workmanship.

However, upon payment, the lady in-charge told me that it was $80 in Chinese, I then took out my wallet and wanted to pay in cash. She then asked if I wanted to pay by credit card as it was more convenient. I thought why not? Since I can get rebates off my credit card bill from the bank as well. After I gave her my card, she started talking to me while keying in the amount at the terminal, and asked me to sign shortly after. Upon placing the stylus on the pad, I noticed the amount reflected on the pad was $160! I stopped immediately and questioned her why was it $160. She then quickly pressed the enter button on her terminal and the transaction got passed. She then told me Magic Power Pro was $80 and installation was $80, then passed me the receipt and told me I can leave.

Magic Power Pro cost $60 http://www.sgcarmart.com/products/overview.php?ID=7601, and she mentioned this exact sentence: Magic Power Pro price differs for customers. For walk-in customers (buy and go install at other place) price is $100, for customers who buy and install at the shop price is $80, and for BlackVue customers price is $60.

Price DIFFERS for different customers, so I thought, sure, fair enough since you are doing business. BUT INSTALLATION (LABOUR) for $80?

And the worst part, they DO NOT WANT TO REFUND the amount overcharged.

Attached will be the receipt.

My ICE experience with them  Posted on 21-May-2014

They have quite good workmanship, if you intend to go competition and have deep pocket, they can do a good job.
My first experience with them was when I drive my Honda FIT, did installation of AVH-P4250DVD HU, CAM, 5.1, Comp SPK + Active Sub and also Soundproofing of 4 doors @ their Toh Guan branch.
I was quite impressed with their workmanship and quality that time.
I sell of my car and dismantle my ICE stuff after 4 years.
Recently I install my ICE stuff from previous car to my new car Prius C @ their main branch Serangoon Garden was served by the boss Kenny.
Did soundproofing of 4 doors again as recommended by them using good soundproof material STP. I was also recommend to install a 4 channel Mosconi AS120.4 amp.
This time round the soundproof workmanship was ok.
The installation was done by a total of 4 persons all together, I'd also prepared all my wiring hardness and told them I wouldn't want to cut any wire if possible.
As due to so many of them working on my car, there are lack of communication, some of them cut my ori hardness when I'd already instructed them not to.
Speaker wiring from amp was not directly from amp to speaker it is from amp to ori car speaker wire then only to speaker (kinda funny, ori car speaker wire CMI??, last time all speaker wiring was reroute and ori wire was not use).
They aren't really family with ori car wiring, but rather they would tap from any wire they can splice (reverse signal tap all the way from my reverse light when my ori hardness wire have the signal?? not so smart..).
After installation I immediately found that my sound system have noise, this was noticed by me myself rather than them. As I was in rush of time, I told them I come back tomorrow for troubleshooting, back at home I'd isolated the issue from my DEQ-P7650 5.1 processor but it took them another 1 hr to identify. After that they offered my a swap of their repair unit (for a charge; almost same price as used unit and need include GST somemore) so that I can save my time of travel to service centre to get my processor repair that I agreed of... but upon seeing the repaired unit that I saw a missing AutoEQ/AutoTA mic cable. The installer told me not needed as they are skills to do tuning, and told me the unit was just service by Pioneer, I also reluctantly agree to install that unit, upon powering up and tuning done by them, I heard funny some or noise (how come professional installer can't notice it??). I query and ask them and they told me is my car pump/fan/engine. After when back home, I check/isolate and found that the noise is from the processor fan (faulty fan I presume). I when back to them and they told me they fan will definitely have sound, you just need to cover with carpet and live with it.
Feeling unsatisfying, I browse around MCF and get/bought a used unit of the processor (cheaper than my swap repair unit). I swap that used unit that I bought and immediately found that the fan noise was no more (feeling conned and angry) and that unit was perfectly working condition with mic somemore (the seller is also ICE installer given me 2 weeks money back guarantee somemore). The next day I direct called Kenny and they ask me go back to check again.
Another comment about their tuning, when you are using average kind of system I feel they didn't put in effort in a proper tuning at all.
I can't get to image and staging of the system after their tuning (giving benefit of doubt to them as I might need to burn-in my amp), upon checking on their tuning I found that they tuned my active sub wrongly (LPF filter was not fully open when the crossover is controlled by processor, gain was too high at my active sub too).
5.1 tuning was not done correctly as well (very prominent unbalance sound level).
Speaker settings or selection was wrong ("large" for my center speaker, how on earth would the crossover work on "large" settings), front speaker settings was also wrongly set and parametric setting was wrong. Because he unable to properly do the crossover when wrong speaker settings, he over compensate the EQ to tune back.
My overall last impression for them was very disappointing, due to the downside of ICE market nowadays they become very pushy on selling new stuff to us, keep on telling me to upgrade this and upgrade that when they didn't do a proper tuning job and just saying your stuff cant make it and need upgrade.
All their stuff was overprice and workmanship charge was still very high premium.
