I did a really simple 5 min job here. It simply involved removing two clips by hand. I Needed a simple hose Changed located at top of the engine secured by two clips and removable and reachable by hand. Entire job took 3-5mins.

I was charged $50 for 2min labour + $25 for a 2 minute engine bay wash that I did not request. The $25 wash is like a restaurant charging $10 for peanuts you didn't ask nor want.

The hose I needed change is sold at the stockist for $40 but BVO charged me $60 (50% Mark up on the parts prices).

All in all..... Prices here are on the much higher side versus other mechanics. Even the Neighbourhood doctor charges less, $25 for a 10-15min consultation.

The mechanics here, at least the one working on my car, is Malaysian.

Tried them before. Return to find car good in condition. No dents and scratches after servicing.
