Was initially worry about the battery heat as it is placed under car seat and covered by car mat. The worry is unnecessary as the cellink is cool to the touch after extended charging and parking. There are Blackvue App and Cellink App to review the videos and check the battery status respectively. It comes really handy as it is a separate battery pack and does not consume the car's battery that causes battery flat or break down.
