The TomTom XXL 550 Series is one of the best GPS I've used by far. Accurate, reliable, quick and slim! I had never been much more impressed with this GPS. It also boasts features like being on the correct lane, miscellaneous and interactive GPS on-the-go navigation. Updates are vital for, in fact, every GPS, and this TomTom doesn't lack in that either! Updates are received well and quickly. Note that this GPS requires much battery, thus charging would have to be scheduled often.

What I like
Offers a good range of useful features without over killing it.

What I do not like
Requires frequent charging since it drains the battery quite quickly.

Review
I wanted a GPS with a big screen and this satisfied my requiremnet with the very clear 5 inch screen. The loudspeaker quality is good and is clear even when turned up to very loud. However, I cannot turn the screen as brgiht as I like and the max is dimmer than my old Garmin set. The interface is ez to use and clear to see even while driving. The GPS also plans journeys fast and the re-planning is also quiet fast. A very good basic GPS, but a bit overpriced.
