First time trying Motul Oil on my new car... As my car is still under 10k km it is still using the mineral oil free from the Tan Chong workshop... When it hit 10k km i change it with Motul Oil ... Wel..L can feel the differences with the oil but it could be because old mineral oil vs new full syn oil..
One thing commendable is the quietness of the engine is definitely better... I switch off my audio and aircon i could not feel nor hear much noise from the running engine which is very good.
Any improvement on the fuel consumption is yet to be seen... Maybe it is just running on it for less than 500km.
What I like
idling engine quietness
What I do not like
expensive compare to other oil

Had my engine oil changed with this Motul line which is touted to be fuel saving. Mileage if said car is ~ 140k and age of car is 8.5 years, so I suppose it would be a good test bed to see how this works out.
What I like
1. 100% Fully synthetic engine oil.
2. Anti-wear additive include in engine oil means I would not be required to add any other additives such as Moly.
3. Improved fuel economy from 13km/l to 15km/l after monitoring for several refills.
What I do not like

I have heard of Motul since i started servicing my first car more than 10 years back but did not have the chance to try it. Have changed the oil before a roadtrip up to genting, initial butt feel was that the car is smoother at idling and less "rough" when pushed compared to the previous engine oil(redline) that i have used. When revving to redline, the car feel light(comparable to redline). Fuel consumption remain the same(13.6km/l), but it might due to redlining it very often enroute to Genting.
What I like
Smoother idling
car eager to be "push"
smooth acceleration to redline
good fuel comsumption
What I do not like
-expensive(can buy redline with ester at roughly the same price)
