You can now order a restomoded Ferrari F355

Evoluto, a U.K.-based startup, has unveiled its restomoded Ferrari F355.

The 355 by Evoluto reimagines the iconic 90s Italian supercar and promises to combine advanced driving dynamics, state-of-the-art technology, and class re-defining engineering. Each commission begins as a customer-supplied Ferrari 355 and undergoes a personalised journey, which includes disassembly to its core chassis before being thoroughly assessed, cleaned, and strengthened with carbon fusing, before getting its customised touches.

That carbon fusing comes after each car is brought through an extensive torsional rigidity study, and is said to deliver to the car a 23% increase in overall torsional stiffness. This work ensures that all critical hard points on the chassis are fortified and chassis flex is minimised.

And this increased stiffness will be needed, as each 355 by Evoluto will also get its naturally aspirated flat plane crank 3.5-litre V8 tuned to produce a total of 420bhp. Evoluto states that this engine gets over 200 new and redesigned engine components for increased response and reliability.

These upgrades include an all-new engine management system, a new ignition system, the use of a quill shaft (which is said to reduce vibration and raise engine performance), as well as a new ported head with larger inlet valves. Each engine also will get an upgraded titanium sports exhaust system, which makes use of equal length headers for improved performance.

On the exterior, the 355 by Evoluto also gets widened track for an enhanced stance.
