Volkswagen Touareg modified by CoverEFX

The Erftstadt-based tuner calls the car the Volkswagen Touareg W12 Sports Edition, and the car will be limited to just 500 units. CoverEFX has given the Touareg W12 Sports Edition a two-tone CFC film of gun-metal and black gloss for a unique look. There is also new 22-inch RS-L light alloy wheels with a special red pinstripes and black powder coat design from Kahn wrapped in Pirelli Zero Scorpion high-performance tyres.

Under the bonnet, the standard W12 engine that underpins the Touareg and produces 450bhp has been given a tweaking. Among the changes include the removal of the electronic speed limiter, a few changes to the engine software, and a new sports filter and Cargraphic exhaust system increases the car's horsepower output to 500bhp.

The chassis has also been modified, with the company only saying that "Electronic equipment makes the chassis even more sportish, and yet comfortable at the same time. The body lowering has been optimized electronically at the chassis level. So now where other powerful vehicles lose their stability, the W12 Sport Edition easily maintains its steadiness on the road."
