Volkswagen to premiere GTI special model at Nurburgring race

At the 2025 ADAC 24 Hour race at the Nurburgring, Volkswagen has announced that it will once again offer a plethora of highlights, including the world premiere of a sporty GTI special model to mark the Golf GTI's upcoming 50^th anniversary in 2026, which will be revealed simultaneously to both media and spectators.

In addition, numerous other highlights will be offered to fans at the event, including performance models from Volkswagen R: The Golf R, Golf R Variant, and Golf R Black Edition special model (all AWD), which represent the world's fastest Volkswagen production models.

Volkswagen also has ambitious goals on the racetrack, with the Max Kruse Racing team competing in the 24 Hour race with two Golf GTI Clubsport 24h, piloted by the same team that celebrated victory in the AT class in the same event in 2024.

The event will kick off from 19 June 2025 to 22 June 2025 in Germany, with the Max Kruse Racing team commencing its preparations in full swing, having completed a winter test in Portimao, Portugal, at the end of February 2025.
