German tuners Novitec Rosso has offered an extensive upgrade programme for the Ferrari FF shooting brake, which is also Ferrari’s first four-wheel drive model. The program comprises carbon-fiber bodywork components; ultra-light wheels, a performance kit, and high-performance exhaust system.The carbon fiber bodywork components are fine-tuned in the wind tunnel, like the front spoiler lip which gives the FF a lower stance and reduces lift on the front axle. Novitec has also installed a roof and rear spoiler and added a diffuser.
The taillights black side markers and LED rear fog lamps can be installed in matching carbon-fiber surrounds. The side skirts and carbon-fiber trim for the side mirrors enhances the sporty appearance of the car’s profile. Carbon-fiber roof covering and radiator grille just adds racing style points for the car.The suspensions are custom, while the NF4 wheel with five delicate double spokes are at 21-inch diameters for the front and 22 inches for the rear axle. Sports springs have lowered the center of gravity of the car. An engine kit boosts power output of the already monstrous 6.3-litre V12 by 42bhp.
The kit comprises newly calibrated engine electronics together with stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system. The exhausts can also be fitted with an optional butterfly valve activated through the steering wheel. A higher engine cut-off speed means the FF will max out at 340km/h, five km/h faster than the stock model.
Also, Novitec will offer longer carbon-fibre shift paddles, for quicker and more precise gear shifts. While it all sounds good, we only have one gripe, why is featured in bright Mango-ish Yellow?
