Road closures for the 2024 Singapore Grand Prix

As the nation gears up to host the Formula One Singapore Grand Prix for 2024, road closures are set to impact the Marina Centre and Padang area again to facilitate event preparations.
Motorist are to note that these road closures will take place across seven days, from 18 to 24 September 2024 (Wednesday to the following Tuesday), during which commuters travelling into the area are encouraged to use public transport instead. Taxis and private hire cars can also be tapped on as alternative travel options.
To reduce disruptions to motorists, the race organisers are adopting a phase approach to the road closures, with affected roads to be progressively opened following the race weekend.
All roads will be fully accessible by 5:30am, on 24 September 2024 (Tuesday).
The following road corridors will be opened at selected hours during the period to facilitate morning and evening peak hour traffic in and out of the city:

Furthermore, train services will be extended beyond their usual hours for the race weekend itself, which spans 20 to 22 September 2024 (Friday to Sunday).
Specific to the city-centre area, the last trains on the North-South Line (NSL) and East-West Line (EWL) will depart from City Hall MRT station at 12:30am on 20 and 21 September 2024, and 12:45am on 22 September 2024. Meanwhile, operating hours for the other train lines (except for the Bukit Panjang LRT service and Changi Airport service) will also be extended.
The LTA further states that selected bus services connecting to MRT stations will also enjoy extended operating hours.
Should you still wish to drive into town during the period, limited access will also be possible via Rochor Road to Temasek Boulevard, or through a single lane along Raffles Boulevard via Nicoll Highway/Temasek Boulevard, at the following timings:
