Peugeot has updated the 5008, contining its commitment to instinctive design for the family SUV.
The front end of the new 5008 has been redesigned with a new frameless grille, while gloss black side scoops and a painted tread plate are integrated into the new bumper design. Top of the range GT and GT Premium models will also feature their own unique grilles to help them stand out further.
The new 5008 SUV also features new head lights with a more purposeful look, and every trim level will feature LED light technology. GT and GT Premium models feature full LED head lights.
At the rear, new upgraded taillights feature full LED technology with Peugeot's iconic three-claw rear light signature and sequential indicator lights. The new lights are covered with a clear, smoked glass finish that extends the black boot lid on each side of the vehicle.
Two new colour options are also offered for the 5008, Celebes Blue and Metallic Copper.
A new 'Black Pack' will be offered on the top-of-the-range GT and GT Premium models, delivering a gloss black finish on the thread plate, front fender trims, roof bars, rear bumper sill, and 19-inch Black Onyx and Black Mist varnish wheels.
The new Peugeot 5008 comes with the new digital i-Cockpit that features a fully customisable 12.3-inch digital instrument display, a compact steering wheel for improved driving dynamics and a new 10-inch high-definition colour touchscreen.
Owners can customise the 12.3-inch digital display in front of them to show everything from navigation directions to important vehicle information. The central display also shows drivers the selected Drive Mode, which owners can choose from the Drive Mode Selector on the centre console. Drivers have a choice between Normal, Sport and Eco modes.
Owners are also treated to new interior trims inside the new Peugeot 5008. These include Red Nappa Leather upholstery or Mistral Black leather effect / Alcantara lining for the GT and GT Premium, a new Mistral Nappa Leather upholstery with Tramontane stitching available on the Allure and above, and a new leather effect and textile 'Colyn' upholstery on Allure and Allure Premium spec cars.
For the first time, the new 5008 SUV is also available with Night Vision, which uses infrared technology to detect and highlight pedestrians and animals detected ahead of the vehicle on the 12.3-inch digital instrument display up to 200m outside the scope of the head lights, ensuring safety even in total darkness.

Lane Position Assist, which is linked to the ACC helps ensure the new 5008 stays safely centred within its lane. Both technologies are available as part of the Drive Assist Plus Package.
Owners will also benefit from the latest-generation Automatic Emergency Braking technology that works at speeds from 4.8km/h to 138km/h.
