We have Brabus for Mercedes, Alpina for BMW and ABT for Audi. Likewise we have Mugen for Honda. Probably the most prominent aftermarket tuners in Japan, Mugen is highly known for their tuning services for the Civic.

The changes are minimal at the rear with notable differences being a new bumper and a convexed roof mounted spoiler. Lastly the concept has extended fender flares and 20-inch aluminium wheels.
In the cabin the changes are even limited besides leather seats and a carbon fibre trim. Performance changes were not released, but Mugen claims the model is fitted with a sport-tuned suspension, high performance brakes and a dual exhaust system.
On top of the CR-V Mugen has introduced a new range of accessories for the European Honda Civic with a new front spoiler, a revised grille and aerodynamic side skirts. Mugen also offers an alternative rear diffuser, a wing and three different sets of wheels available in a variety of finishes.
Other options include a carbon fibre rearview mirror cover, oil caps in anodised aluminium oil caps in Champagne Gold, Silver Grey, Red, Blue or Black. Sadly like the CR-V, there aren't performance upgrades.

Now Mugen has turned their attention to the CR-V - evident from a concept presented at the Tokyo Auto Salon. The tuning kit is largely cosmetic where the crossover is equipped with a revised with a new face - featuring a revised grille, LED fog lights and aluminium accents.
