Maybach 57S Coupe previewed by Xenatec
23 May 2010|3,210 views
Xenatec, which is based in Weinsburg, Germany, will produce just 100 units of the 57S Coupe, and the project has received official approval from Maybach's parent company, Daimler Benz. Like standard Maybachs, the 57S Coupe is highly customisable and will be made available for sale in Asia, the Middle East, the United States and Russia. A four-year warranty that will be honoured by all Maybach-authorized service facilities worldwide also comes with the car.
Under the bonnet, the Maybach 57S Coupe will have the same twin-turbo V12 engine that produces 603bhp as the standard Maybach. Also remaining untouched is the 3390mm long wheelbase, two-tone exterior options, and the highly-customizable four-seat interior.
The main changes on the Coupe is the new elongated front doors, which pushes the B-pillar back about 20 centimetres, and the omission of the rear doors. The 57S Coupe also has a redesigned rear bumper with LED daytime lights, along with a rear that is 20cm wider. 20-inch alloy wheels come standard, but optional 21-inch wheels are also available. At the back, the exhaust has been changed, along with the bumper, and the lighting.
