LTA offers a first look at the MRT stations of TEL Stage 4

The LTA has offered up a first look at the stations of Stage 4 of the Thomson East Coast Line (TEL), which is set to open in 2024, which you can view in the gallery above.
Comprising seven stations in total stretching from Tanjong Rhu to Bayshore, Stage 4 of the MRT line is set to bring all residents staying along our eastern coast easier access to our train network and the city centre.
The TEL will stretch a total of 43km when it fully opens, adding a total of 32 new stations to our rail network with seven interchange stations offering linkage to all five existing MRT lines. The first stage of the TEL was opened to the public at a special open house event in January 2020.
The LTA expects the new line to serve close to a million commuters when fully operational. It also stated that its engineers are currently testing the various systems of the new stage for the line, and putting the TEL trains through their paces to get them ready for debut.
