Are you an NBA player looking for a car with enough legroom to get you out of your home at Sentosa Cove? Or perhaps you're a Hong Kong real estate mogul looking for something that can ensure that you arrive at every board meeting as refreshed as possible?
You'll want to sit up and pay attention to this one.
The Lexus LM500h sports the firm's iconic Spindle Body front, while its body is said to sport streamlined proportions, engineered to enhance performance and efficiency
It's called the Lexus LM, and yes, it isn't exactly new here (read our review of the Lexus LM350h here). This LM500h now available here is a new variant for Singapore, but what you're more likely to be interested in, is the fact that this LM is also a four-seater.
You'll be happy to note that Lexus states that the cabin of this car has been designed "provide a serene, first-class environment, leveraging the vehicle's generous height to offer an airy, spacious ambiance". And you'll also take note that there's not only two captain's chairs here, alongside a 48-inch wide-screen display, a retractable frosted glass partition, and a host of storage compartments and a refrigerator to boot.
Those seats not only offer a greater ottoman extension and retraction range compared to those found in the LM350h seven-seater variant, but also come supported by a Warmth-Sensing Infrared Matrix Sensor that monitors the ambient temperature of the cabin as well as the temperature of the face, chest, thighs, and lower legs of both passengers, and then adjusts the air-conditioning settings to deliver optimum passenger thermal comfort.
The Lexus LM500h four-seater comes with a 48-inch wide-screen display in its cabin, while its captain's chairs offer an ottoman extension and retraction range greater than those found on the LM350h seven-seater
And if that isn't enough to impress, this Lexus LM also comes with a dedicated 'rear comfort' drive mode, which adjusts the damping force offered by its Adaptive Variable Suspension system to prioritise rear-seat comfort, while modulating vehicle acceleration and braking to reduce passenger posture changes during acceleration and deceleration.
The Lexus LM500h four-seater comes here powered by hybrid drivetrain that makes use of a 2.4-litre engine that is paired to a six-speed automatic transmission (as opposed to a continuously variable transmission in the LM350h seven-seater) and develops a total system output of 366bhp alongside a peak torque of 460Nm.
Lexus states that the LM500h will return a fuel economy of 13.2km/L and will crack the century sprint in 6.9 seconds. The car is being offered here with four exterior colours: Graphite Black, Sonic Quartz, Titanium, and Sonic Agate, with the last option being exclusive to the LM.
The Lexus LM 500h four-Seater can be purchased at the Lexus Boutique at 33 Leng Kee Road, and viewing appointments can be booked via their website here.
