Discover vintage vehicles from Audi Tradition across Europe

Audi Tradition starts 2017 with full steam. This year, car lovers can experience historic vehicles at more than 20 national and international events throughout Europe. The highlight for all fans of the great Audi rally age will most certainly be two-time world champion, Walter Rohrl, once again engaging the gears of his legendary Audi Sport quattro S1 Pikes Peak at the Festival of Speed in Goodwood (29^th June to 2^nd July), U.K.

The annual programme will kick off with the vintage car show, Techno Classica, in Essen (5^th to 9^th April), Germany. Audi Tradition will only be exhibiting vehicles from NSU, the brand that preceded Audi. Among them will be the design icon, the NSU Ro 80.

This year, the most powerful of all Auto Union Silver Arrows, the Auto Union Type C racing car, will be taking up its place on the starting line of two events. The car's 16 cylinders will be demonstrating their power in the mountains at the Grossglockner Grand Prix (21^st to 24^th September), Austria.

Both the Danube Classic (22^nd to 24^th June), which takes place in and around Audi's Ingolstadt site, and the Heidelberg Historic (13^th to 15^th July), which takes place close to Neckarsulm, Germany are permanent fixtures in the Audi Tradition event programme. This year, predominantly NSU vehicles will be starting at both events. In the meantime, Audi Tradition is also well-established at the Sachsenring Classic (16^th to 18^th June) where mainly classic motorcycles pull up to the starting line of the historic route.

The brand with the four rings will also be showing its colours at Bodensee Klassik (4^th to 6^th May), Sachsen Classic (17^th to 19^th August), the Kitzbuheler Alpenrallye (7^th to 10^th June), Schloss Bensberg Supersport Classics (1^st to 3^rd July) and the Gran Premio Nuvolari in Italy (14^th to 17^th September). The model car collector's market at the Audi Forum in Ingolstadt (3^rd December) will round out the season.
