Passione Engadina, which is held in St. Moritz, is considered as one of the world's most exclusive motoring events. A unique 'Pavillon Bugatti' gathered 13 rare and special Bugatti icons in the heart of St. Moritz. A collection of Bugatti cars also embarked on the Julius Baer rally along the mountain roads and the alpine passes of Bernina, Umbrail and Fuorn.
This year's Passione Engadina also marks its eleventh year of gathering rare classic cars built up until 1992. In order to pay tribute to the Bugatti marque, the event looked to Ettore Bugatti's roots. The Bugatti founder was born in Milan to a family of artists and had a natural talent and flair for engineering and art.
Ettore Bugatti's story is told through a special exhibition outside the famous Kulm Hotel in St. Moritz. The 'Pavillon Bugatti' displayed 13 cars, from the Type 1 Prinetti Stucchi, a motorised tricycle to the latest track car from the brand, the fearsome Bugatti Bolide.
The cars were generously donated by customers of Bugatti, and on display until 28 August 2022. The Pavillon Bugatti was open to public, attracting nearly 20,000 visitors.
