The revised X5 and X6 models will get additional equipment options, new exterior colours and an expanded choice of light alloy wheels. Additionally, the X5 xDrive30d will be available with BMW's BluePerformance technology, to help it fully meet the requirements of Europe's EU6 exhaust emissions standards.The X5 Exclusive Edition will be available with a new Platinum Bronze Metallic paint, while the X6 gets a Mineral Silver Metallic finish. Both cars also get 20-inch light alloy wheels with Y spoke styling, as well as front door sill finishers with the BMW Edition designation. The X5 also features BMW’s lettering on the rear sills.
Inside, BMW has given the X5 and X6 Exclusive Editions the BMW Individual treatment, with Anthracite headliner, dark Bamboo wood trim, black floor mats with oyster-coloured edging, and the sport seats that feature heating and electric seat adjustment, and are upholstered in Nevada leather Oyster with black contrasting seams.
For the rest of the range, BMW is now offering Citrine Black Metallic to the choice of exclusive BMW Individual exterior colours, while the X5 Sport Package will now include the new M leather steering wheel with integrated gearshift paddles. Finally, the diesel-powered X5 xDrive30d will be available with the BMW BluePerformance technology that further reduces the emission of nitrogen oxides (NOx) though the use of the standard diesel particulate filter in conjunction with the Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) and a NOx absorber.
