The A1 S-line Style Editions will sandwich between the S-line and Black Editions with £2,200 (S$4,244) worth of options available for both three and five door models for a premium of £950 (S$1,832) above the equivalent S-line model. Prices will range from £18,125 (S$34,969) to £20,605 (S$39,754).
The S-line Style Edition upgrade includes metallic or pearl-effect paint finishes in a choice of Ice Silver, Phantom Black, Misano Red or Glacier White colour schemes. These are complemented by a gloss black finish for the contrasting roof line in three-door versions, and a fully gloss black contrasting roof in Sportback models, both of which also feature gloss black door mirror housings.
In the S-line Style Edition, the aesthetics are further enhanced by xenon headlamps with distinctive LED daytime running lights and 17-inch 'five V-spoke' alloy wheels with a bi-colour finish. A bi-colour 'five-arm' design is also available as a no-cost option. Inside, the sleeves for the air vents are finished in either Misano Red or Glacier White when these exterior colours are chosen, or in gloss black in conjunction with the Ice Silver and Phantom Black exterior options.
This new specification is available in conjunction with three highly efficient engines from the A1 range starting with the 1.2-litre TFSI with 84bhp, the 1.4-litre TFSI with 120bhp and the 1.6-litre TDI with 103bhp. All power units are bundled with engine start-stop and recuperation systems. The 1.6-litre TDI provides the ultimate combination of sporting style, keen performance and exceptional efficiency, with up to 31.5km/L according to the official combined cycle test and CO2 emissions of just 99g/km.
Though it is uncertain at press time, the A1 S-line Style Editions seems to be a U.K. exclusive at the moment.
