Aston Martin DB9 gets a minor facelift

The cosmetic changes to the facelifted DB9 are mostly subtle, with a new front bumper, a bright finish grille, a revised lower air intake with a bright hexagonal mesh screen, new headlights, restyled side sills, silver brake callipers, and 20-spoke diamond turned alloy wheels. The interior, meanwhile, features an improved Bluetooth system, new 'Double Apex' trim, and an optional Bang & Olufsen audio system.

Under the bonnet, the DB9 continues to be powered by its 6.0-litre V12 that produces 470bhp and 600Nm of torque. Aston Martin has given the DB9 an all new suspension system however, with a new Adaptive Damping System (ADS) which offers improved ride comfort and sharper handling in Sport mode.

According to Ian Minards, Aston Martin's Product Development Director, "The DB9 was the first car built at Gaydon adopting the VH architecture. It has evolved every year since, with significant changes including a power upgrade and successive reductions in CO2 emissions. The latest package of improvements goes further than ever, highlighting the DB9's qualities as a true sporting GT and underlining its role as the backbone car of our range."
