2 days ago, 30/3/2015, I went down with my Suzuki Swift 1.2A to Auto 101 for a recurring transmission leaking issue. Issue was there for 2 months already, however, warranty workshop recommended gasket change. Leak was coming from a valve on top. Ron and his mechanics did a small o ring change the week before prior, but the issue came back. This time, I went back due to the fact that the leak was much more than normal, it was dripping to the ground. Ron suggested to try a fluid change, if worst case, do a flush. As he suspected the fluid was wrong for the transmission type. We agreed to opt for original Suzuki CVT. The drain plugs were hard to come out, as it was stripped by the previous fluid change. Upon draining out everything, it was found to be ATF fluid, plus it was overfilled. Nevertheless, they quickly filled in with the new fluid, but it leaked red still. Even after 6 litres flushing it, it was still red. So proceed to fill with 2nd tin. Everything was done prompt and really fast and with precision. Ron assurred me that it will be really clean though not 100% as it was not a full flush. Proceeded to do the payment, and headed home. Was surprised at the price they charged, way below what I was expected to pay! Guess what? The car was completly different. Smoother, and less drag while cruising. This car has a unique problem of vibrating while accelerating from 30-40km/hr, this was gone or mninmised to less than 10% of what I had before i drove my car in. Till today, the transmission is still leak free, even with rough driving. Whats the best part? They are keen to answer any question, and will do everything to the best of their ability. They also do something I don't see in many workshops, they ASK the customer before proceeding with anything extra and they do not push. I never remembered waiting more than 15 mins without being entertained by them. Even if it was a busy day, they would explain the situation. Would like to thank Auto 101 and its staff for a job really well done! They solved a mistake done by someone else, and saved my CVT transmission. - Jermyn Eng Jie Ming

Ever since I bought my 2006 Renault Megane, I have visited a couple of car autoshops with varying experiences. It is when I discovered Auto 101 that I realised this is the shop I will be coming back to.

Ron, the Director, is extremely patient and helpful when it comes to explaining things to anyone. They make good recommendations and if they feel that you do not change a worn part because your 10-years is up, they will advise you accordingly.

I recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a honest, trustworthy car autoshop to visit.

Went to Auto (101) Singapore today with my Chervolet Aveo. Very friendly mechanic. Check and diagnose for me for free. Advise me to go back to my agent for servicing since I still have 6 months warranty. Very honest and reliable mechanic. Will go back to them after my warranty is over. - Jixiang Chen

Disapointed with them today. Fix my car cam yesterday. Seem everythg ok. Went back found my remote lock cannot use. Went to shop again today, ask me to get a new remote saying the connection came off. Btw, my remote was working fine before install of the car cam. - Muhd Qashyim Md Yusoff

There must have been a misunderstanding, have just checked with our head mechanic and he mentioned that it could be just a battery in your remote. about the connection, he was trying to mention that you already have the wiring for the alarm and it would be a plug and play fix for your car should you choose to install it. once again our sincere apologies for the misunderstanding possibly due to the language barrier our chief mech faces, we hope to see you again and do update us on the issue. cheers!
