Hanip auto, started in the mid 90s, last century, survived many ordeal throughout, especially those financial crisis period, but they stands the test of time, which eventually my car found them and stay with this service provider for the past 7 years after patronising 3 others before. This is because, they truly know their work with but not limited to just parallel imported Toyota and able to give customer a peace of their mind with their vehicle while travelling on the road locally and also going overseas like Malaysia. As the servicing is well done up, I am very well aware, and sure of my car's performance, that safety shall not be compromise. Every time I visit the workshop, it also gives me a very homely feeling like I am visiting a Malay friend's house. The down side is, the place is a bit out of the way, and it is quite a distance from the nearest bus stop. I wish Hanip's business flourish so that he can set up at a place which is more convenient to his loyal customer. Lastly, vehicle safety is the important thing and I do urge anyone reading this review that getting the right vehicle servicing provider is just as important. - Siew Chong Keit

Sent our Toyota Picnic to Hanip Autobiles just now. Vibrations and loud noise was so unbearable which got us very worried. Hanip inspected the car, identified the issue, ordered and collected the original parts and rectified all problems in a short span of time. He even help rectified the horn and alarm issue which agent said was difficult to do and would cost us a huge amount. I'm so thankful we met him today. Definitely a workshop I would recommend to all. I was looking for a workshop to overhaul my 10 year old Vios as I was planning to extend the COE. My car had been making some funny noises and I had been to a workshop in Malaysia to try and get it rectified. The workshop in Malaysia misdiagnosed the problem and failed to fix it. Later I found Hanip automobile through Sgcarmart and went to him to get the noise fixed.
He was very professional and took a long car ride with me to identify and diagnose the problem even though he was very busy. The other workshop owner in Malaysia just got his assistant to drive around the car for a short distance to diagnose the problem.
Hanip correctly identified and rectified the problem. He also rectified several other problems he found with the car. I have used the car for more than 6 months after he fixed it and have had no issues with it.
He is knowledgeable and gives his personal attention to his customers and their cars. I highly recommend his services.

I've enjoyed many great motoring years with Hanip Automobiles since I started to send my car for regular servicing for more than 10 years now. The 'boss' Hanip is very experience, professional and he'll personally test drive my car to diagnose any possible problem. I want to thank his team of mechanics for their skillful jobs too. Every time when I drove out of his workshop after servicing, felt like I'm driving a new car home. Great job guys!

I had my Estima fixed by Hanip Automobiles on 1/4/16.... April Fool Day! I was very happy with the job done. However, I was disappointed and upset now. Mr Hanip told me that he will contact me to inform me of the charges before he change any parts. I remember very clearly that he told me the charges for the pulley was $300, and the mounting was $500, all original Toyota parts; plus labour charge $300. When I received the invoice, he charged me $700 on the mounting, and the Alternator pulley price was only $90, but there were other parts such as Alternator cap $17, Waterpump Tensioner $190....(add up is $297). I asked him why there was $200 different on the mounting, he said because they also checked many areas that have problems and so on and so for..... I paid eventually. If Mr Hanip wanted to check on the condition of other parts without my request, then he should not have charged me. Worse of all, how can the cost of the extra work added int eh cost of the mounting. He should have put it down as labour fee..; which I also have already paid for. In fact, I am very happy with him that he could tackled the problem of the car. But I am upset that he increased the price after what we have agreed upon. To me that is dishonest act. Dear all, please do confirm the price with him via text if you are sending your car down. Handing over your car to Hanip's care is like handing an infant to its own mother; nothing can be more assuring. I have known Hanip for more than 2years now sending my cars for repairs due to wear and tear and periodical servicing. I am driving an 8 year old toyota vanguard now and it still feel like the day it came out from the showroom if not better. If somebody complains about Hanip overcharging or being expensive that is because he uses original parts and he is preemptive to prevent an even severe problem to your vehicle that will cost you much much more. I give him 5 stars because there is only 5 stars maximum.. otherwise more. If you want the best and the most honest then go to Hanip Automobile. - Sagaff Aljoferi

I called Hanip himself and asked if he is available at 3pm to take a look at my car. He said OK, so I made my way.. Together with wife and son. Take note: I specifically took time off from work to come at 3pm. Attended to me at 3.30pm- this I have no problem with. He did a test drive and concluded the aircon belt needs to be changed. He said he is unable to do it that day since he has other urgent cases to do.

No. 1) Do not commit if you do not have time for your customer
No. 2) You could have called prior to my appointment time to say you are busy so that I can come another day

Perhaps I look like I am soooo free? Go to your shop at appointment time but was asked to come the next day just because you are busy.. Increase your manpower to meet with the needs of the customers. Most importantly- Never Tai Chi Your Customer.

Just met Mr. Hanip today with my Estima being towed to his garaged. A nice and humble chap with lot's of experience and awards in automobile, specialised in Toyota & Lexus. Opened-up the corrosion part of my engine, whatsapp me all the damage photos and details, and what a surprise to see what had happened. Decided to send my car to Hanip to resolve the annoying sound (empty drum sound) from my brakes for good. I usually service my car with BM but it seemed that their technicians couldn’t identify and fix the issue after numerous visit.

Hanip personally welcomed me and test-drove with me to identify the problem even when I did not made an appointment. I waited in the comfortable nicely decorated main office while my vehicle was being fixed. In less than 30 mins, Hanip was able to troubleshoot and isolate the issue with a recommended fix. What impressed me was the patience he had demonstrated while explaining the problem to me.

He trusted me and allowed me to test-drive my car after fixing the car even before I had made payment.

Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with Hanip and will definitely return to service my vehicle in future. The price quoted was reasonable for the work done. Most importantly, I can finally drive in peace without the annoying sound from the brakes.
