Volkswagen has updated the T-Cross.
The updated crossover can be easily identified by its new front bumper, which gets a redesigned central intake as well as new intakes at either side. The main grille at the front also has been redesigned, and an LED light bar now spans its width. This grille is flanked by head lights that can now be had with Volkswagen's IQ.Light matrix LED technology.
At the back, the taillights have been redesigned so they now end with X-shaped designs at either end, while the bumper here has also been redesigned. This updated T-Cross will be offered with three new exterior colours: Grape Yellow, Clear Blue Metallic, and Kings Red Metallic.
Inside, the T-Cross now comes as standard with an 8.0-inch infotainment display, although a 9.2-inch item can also be specified. The dashboard of the car has also been redesigned, and is now upholstered - a touch that has also been applied to the front door trims of the 'Style' and 'R-Line' trim vehicles. All variants of the T-Cross will now come with a digital instrument cluster as standard.
Further back in the cabin, the car's sliding rear seats have been retained, allowing the rear cargo space to expand from 385 to 455 litres. Fold the rear seats down and the car will offer a total cargo area of 1,281 litres. The Volkswagen T-Cross is additionally available with a front passenger seat that folds down (for the 'Life' specification package and up in left-hand drive only), allowing users to store items up to 2,398mm long.
The Volkswagen T-Cross will continue to be offered with either a 94bhp or a 114bhp 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine, on top of a 148bhp 1.5-litre four-cylinder in the U.K.
