Updated BMW X5 and BMW X6 arrive in Singapore

The updated BMW X5 and BMW X6 have arrived here in Singapore.
New for the X5 are the pair of head lights up front, which now sport an outline that has been slimmed down by a total of 35mm. These Matrix LED items come complete with a non-dazzling high beam feature, and also now get new arrow-shaped daytime driving elements.

These new head lights sit above a redesigned air intake and new vertical air curtains in the front bumper. The taillights at the rear have also been redesigned, with the L-shape familiar from other BMW models now reflected horizontally to create a striking X-shaped motif.
The BMW X6 also gets slimmer head lights as well as the arrow-shaped daytime driving light elements. Below these lights, the width and brawny structure of the X6 are emphasised thanks to a sculptural front apron that now gets its black surfaces in an octagonal shape. The car also arrives here with M-specific side skirts and the M High-gloss Shadowline trim, all part of the M Sport package.
12.3-inch information display and 14.9-inch control display in both the X5 and X6 now run BMW's Operating System 8
In the cabin, both cars now have BMW’s Curved Display, which merges a 12.3-inch information display behind the steering wheel and a 14.9-inch control display behind a single glass surface and get an ambient light bar ahead of the front passenger area.
Both models also get sports seats, and an instrument panel surfaced in leather-like Sensafin. The cabin of the BMW X5 features fine wood trim elements, while the BMW X6 gets carbon fibre cabin trim.

Both the BMW X5 and BMW X6 come to Singapore powered by 376bhp 3.0-litre six-cylinder that develops a total of 520Nm of torque complete with 48V mild hybrid technology. This engine is paired to an eight-speed transmission, and BMW's xDrive all-wheel drive system. The BMW X5 and BMW X6 will hit 100km/h from a standstill in 5.4 seconds with this engine.
Both the BMW X5 and BMW X6 are now available for viewing at all authorised BMW dealers in Singapore.
