Skoda has announced that the European New Car Assessment Programme has awarded the Elroq the maximum five-star safety rating in its latest round of crash safety tests.

The car also scored 87% in the 'Child Occupant Protection' category, with Skoda stating that the child dummies recorded very low levels of strain in the tests, while the Elroq also achieved maximum points for the ease of installation and compatibility of a wide range of child seats available on the market.
The Skoda Elroq also scored 77% for the 'Vulnerable Road User Protection' category and 78% in the 'Safety Assist' category.
