Porsche is electrifying Vietnam.
After being one of the first countries in the world to get its own Porsche Studio (read about the Singapore Porsche Studio here), Vietnam is now set to get its own ultra-fast electric vehicle charging network, developed in collaboration with Charge+.
The initiative will see the country getting 17 charging sites over the course of the next three years, integrating with the two high-performance charging sites already available at Porsche Studio Hanoi and Porsche Centre Saigon into the Charge+ app (Charge+ also offers electric vehicle charging services here in Singapore, read more about what we thin about it here).
The first nine sites on this new network with charging speeds of up to 180kW will be ready by the first half of 2025, located in large cities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang, or commonly frequented mid-journey stops such as Ninh Binh, Phan Thiet, and Bao Loc. Existing chargers at both Porsche Vietnam retail locations offer up to 350kW of high-performance charging.
The remaining eight sites are scheduled to be ready progressively by the first half of 2027 at locations such as Thanh Hoa and Quy Nhon. Special benefits such as preferential charging rates will be accorded to new Porsche electric vehicle owners, with more benefits to be announced in the future.
