The Omoda 7 will be the latest addition to the brand's U.K. lineup in January 2026 and is described as a mid-size, five-seat SUV tailored specifically for British roads and lifestyles.
It will be offered in two trims: Knight (base) and Noble (luxury).
The base Knight trim offers features such as a heated eco leather steering wheel, dual-zone air-conditioning, a six-speaker Sony audio system, cooled 50W wireless smartphone connection, and 19-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin delivers exceptional quality and comfort, easily accommodating five adults.
The Noble trim takes luxury further, adding a 12-speaker Sony system, six-way electric adjustment for driver and front passenger, heated and ventilated gaming-inspired seats, power tailgate, a 1,450mm panoramic sunroof, and 20-inch alloy wheels. It also introduces an air-conditioning fragrance system and four-zone voice control - firsts for any U.K.-delivered Omoda model.
The Omoda 7 will be offered as a fast-charging plug-in hybrid, featuring Omoda and Jaecoo's Super Hybrid System (SHS), which combines an 18.3kWh battery with a 1.5-litre engine that produces 201bhp and 365Nm of torque. Self-charging ensures it never runs flat, with a WLTP range of over 1,127km.
It also offers 40kW DC fast charging, allowing it to recharge from 30-80% in 20 minutes. Omoda will also offer U.K. customers the option of a 1.6-litre TGDI petrol engine that delivers 145bhp and 275Nm of torque.
Sporting a confident, athletic stance, the Omoda 7's front sees a borderless diamond-pattern grille anchoring the X-shaped design, flanked by slim follow-me-home LED Matrix headlights. At the rear, it features "O-Universe" lightning bolt-shaped rear lights, as seen on the recently launched Omoda 4.
The Omoda 7 will be offered in five exterior colour choices: Selenite White, Obsidian Black, Chromite Silver, Larimar Green, and Iced Moonstone.
Inside, all Omoda 7 models will come equipped with the latest tech. The screens are a 15.6-inch central touchscreen and a 10.25-inch digital instrument display. It's also paired with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and seamless OTA/FOTA updates as standard. At the rear, it offers 639 litres of boot space.
The Omoda 7 will go on sale in the U.K. from January 2026.
