Lamborghini has celebrated the Asian dynamic debut of the Temerario, with its 'baby' hybrid supercar taking to asphalt on a three-day track experience at Japan's exclusive 3.5km Magarigawa track.
More than 150 customers from across the Asia Pacific region were invited to experience the car across a multitude of hair-raising track scenarios, including testing its launch control on Magarigawa's 800-metre straight, and putting its aerodynamics to the limit through the circuit's 22 corners.
Notably, the fleet of Temerarios availed to them here also included units equipped with the lightweight Alleggerita pack, which adds an aero pack (including a new splitter and ducktail spoiler) for an extra 50kg of downforce, and shaves 25kg off the car's kerb weight thanks to lightweight carbon fibre rims.
Culinary delights also awaited customers thereafter, with gourmet cuisine and "premium refreshments" awaiting at the Magarigawa Club, which is a members-only circuit.
The Temerario, which succeeds the Huracan, marks the latest technical marvel in Lamborghini's stable as the brand begins to embrace partial electrification.
At its heart lies a twin-turbo V8 hybrid powertrain - comprising three electric motors and an all-new V8 engine developed from scratch at Lamborghini's headquarters in Sant'Agata Bolognese - that gives it a peak output of 908bhp, and allows it rev up to an incredible 10,000rpm.
