Jaguar Land Rover launches new sustainability challenge

Jaguar Land Rover has launched its first Sustainability Innovation Challenge.

Designed to foster collaboration between innovators across sectors and institutions and to drive creativity and accelerate development and implementation of sustainable solutions for the firm’s customers and operations, the challenge is focused on harnessing creativity and innovation to create a positive real-world impact and welcomes submissions from start-ups, academia and stakeholders.

Prospective applicants are encouraged to showcase concepts which demonstrate innovation and creativity as well as have an environmental, social or economic impact. The concepts will also be assessed based on their feasibility of implementation within the firm’s operations, and its ability to be scaled to address broader sustainability challenges.

The challenge will run for five months and culminate in a pitch day with the winner selected at the Birmingham Tech Week from 21 to 25 October 2024. Jaguar Land rover states that successful trailblazers can expect to initiate proof-of-concepts, receive strategic funding and gain access to its innovative R&D resources.
