Honda Insight gets modified suspension and minor trim enhancements

Honda said that changes to the suspension were made "in direct response to the comments received from early customers and the media", and that the modifications were designed to address "negative feedback on ride and comfort levels."

For improved ride, handling and stability, Honda has given the Insight's suspension a few upgrades, including adjusting the recoil rate of the springs, altering the rear camber angles, changing the V-shape rear suspension brace and adjusting mounts.

Aside from the new suspension, the facelifted Insight gets a few minor changes to its interior. There is a redesigned dashboard and new seat colours for a "more uniform finish", while higher quality plastics are now used in the interior. There are also new chrome rings surrounding the air vents and the doors have been given a silver garnish feature.

The Insight also gains additional equipment, with rear parking sensors now standard on all models. There is also a new top-of-the-range EX trim level, which has black leather upholstery and DVD Satellite-Navigation with hands-free telephone equipment, as well as two new exterior colours, Dynamic Blue Pearl and Carnelian Red Pearl.
