Daihatsu A-Concept at the Indonesian Motor Show

The car was developed by P.T. Astra Daihatsu Motor, which is the Japanese carmaker’s Indonesian division, and the A-Concept expresses the theme of "Driving Heart to Green Living", which appeals to the Indonesian market where compact, economical and practical vehicles are in demand.

Daihatsu has not revealed many details about the A-Concept, but it is said to be considered for production. The car could serve as a base for an Asian version of the Daihatsu Mira compact that is currently sold in Japan only.

The Daihatsu A-Concept will be on display at the 2011 Indonesian International Motor Show, which is the 19th edition and will run from July 22 to July 31 in Jakarta.
