The jump in the premium for Cat A could be a result of dealers here moving to secure the final COEs which they need as they reach closer to the end of the six-week guarantee period that is usually offered with their new vehicles, following the surge in sales secured during the 2024 Singapore Motor Show. The total number of bids received for the category has been trending upwards through 2024, even when the total number of bids received has stayed relatively steady for the rest of the categories though 2024.
