Bulletproof Hyundai: UN Secretary-General rides in bulletproof Equus Limo
19 Dec 2012|4,998 views
Hyundai has moved a big step up the automotive ladder with its handover of a specially prepped version of the flagship Hyundai Equus Limousine to UN Secretary-General, Ban Ki Moon. This special limousine is in fact a bulletproof Equus limousine.
Of course, being a South Korean automaker might have given Hyundai the slightest edge but for the Secretary-General of the United Nations to ride in a Hyundai limousine spells an upward lift in the automaker's reputation.
Similar to the regular wheelbase model, the stretch limousine version of the Equus was recently subjected to a facelift with some minor cosmetic changes to the exterior (elimination of the chrome trim strips, new wheels and LED tail lamps) as well as the interior (redesigned dashboard and added features).
