Bentley reveals new Bentayga EWB Mulliner

Bentley has taken the level of luxury available for the Bentayga family to a new level with the unveiling of the new Bentayga Extended Wheelbase Mulliner.

The Bentayga EWB Mulliner is available in either a 4+1 or a four-seat configuration, and continues to be available with the Bentley Airline Seat specification.

The seats from this specification offer a total of 22-ways of adjustment, and come with auto climate seat technology, which sense occupant temperature and surface humidity before determining whether to apply heat, ventilation, or both simultaneously, to keep the occupants at an optimum thermal wellbeing.

The seats in the Bentley Bentayga EWB Mulliner, however, do get new thigh and shoulder pockets, plus additional lumbar massage pockets, to subtly yet continuously change the shape of the seat to ease pressure points around the body, preventing dead spots and fatigue build up.

Once completely relaxed, customers will be able to soak in the cabin of the Bentayga EWB Mulliner, which comes in a selection of eight curated three-colour combinations.

These combinations each have their own title, and range from the fiery 'Flare' (a combination of Hotspur, Beluga and Linen) to the deep and dark 'Storm' (which utilises white as an accent colour like a flash of lightning across a night sky). Customers can also specify their own Mulliner Bespoke Interior using any three colours in a total of more than 4,000 tri-tone interior colour combinations.

This cabin also now makes use of Olive Tan leather, which requires less water to dye than a conventional tanning process, and utilises a tanning agent that is free of harmful metals, minerals and aldehydes.

Mulliner deep-pile overmats will also be offered here in a total of eight three-colour combinations curated by the Mulliner design team. The standard cabin carpets have also been made more sustainable, now made from 100% recycled nylon.

Complementing these colours is the use of Grand Black veneer trim, polished to a mirror-finish and sporting overlays of silver Mulliner lettering and the Bentayga silhouette to the passenger fascia, the Bentley 'B' on door waistrails and Mulliner chrome patterning on the rear picnic trays. Owners will receive a Mulliner presentation key box and key pouches matched to their Bentayga's chosen three-colour combination.

On the exterior, the Bentley Bentayga EWB Mulliner is distinguished by the use of Mulliner-exclusive 22-inch wheels, available in a polished finish or grey painted with polished accents. These wheels sport self-levelling wheel caps that remain upright as the wheels rotate. The car also gets Mulliner's Double Diamond front grille and chrome front lower grille, complemented by Mulliner wing vents, with two-tone mirror caps in Satin Silver and body colour.

Customers looking for something more discreet here may wish to opt for the Mulliner Blackline Specification, which applies a gloss back treatment to all exterior chromework and mirror caps, save for the Bentley badges. This specification also completes the SUV with 22-inch gloss black Mulliner wheels.

The Bentley Bentayga EWB Mulliner comes powered by the firm's 4.0-litre V8, which delivers a total of 542bhp and 770Nm of torque. The SUV also gets Bentley's three-chamber air springs, said to give the Mulliner the dynamic ability of the standard wheelbase Bentayga, alongside all-wheel steering.
