10 Mar 2010|3,016 views
The Clio Gordini RS joins the Twingo Gordini 133 as the second model to use the Gordini name in the Renault range, and was developed by the sporting arm of Renault, Renault Sport Technologies. The Clio Gordini RS is expected to go on sale by the middle of the year.
The Clio Gordini RS is based on the standard Clio RS, which uses a 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated four-cylinder 16-valve engine that produces 200bhp and 215Nm of torque, which allows the car to go from 0-100km/h in under seven seconds.
Among the design highlights adorning the Clio Gordini RS include its trademark Gordini blue paintwork with twin white stripes, as well as black 17-inch alloys, gloss black highlights on the front bumper, rear diffuser and wing mirror housings and an F1-style front bib finished in white.
The interior features leather sport seats, a blue and black leather trimmed steering wheel, a gearlever with blue gaiter and metallic Gordini-branded gear knob, a rev-counter dial with white background, decorative stitching for the upper dashboard, specific floor mats and numbered plaque on the gear-lever console.
This is in addition to already standard equipment found on the Clio RS, such as CD audio system with USB connection, Bluetooth, automatic wipers, automatic lights, cruise control, and a key card for starting up the car.
