Citroen unveils the Survolt concept at Geneva

The Survolt concept combines all-electric performance with a "high-fashion" design, and was officially revealed at the Geneva Motor Show. Citroen has not revealed any performance figures or details about the electric powertrain, but says the Survolt has a "motor racing punch."

The Survolt concept has an aerodynamic look that combines "flowing lines [that] convey agility, precision and vitality - with a powerful, muscular character contained in its refined and luxurious frame," according to its press release. The Survolt measures 3850mm long, 1870mm wide and 1200mm high, making it slightly larger than a Lotus Exige.

Among the design details on the Survolt include LED lighting at the front, an oval-shaped grille, rear spoiler, and rear lights that are similar to Citroen’s Revolte concept. A large windscreen gives the impression of space, and the Geneva show car was finished in shades of charcoal, fuchsia, and yellow.
