Lamborghini Gallardo goes RWD

Lamborghini is said to be preparing a rear wheel drive version of their Gallardo sports car, to be called the Gallardo LP550-2.

As the name suggests, the car will have 550bhp from its 5.2 litre V10 engine, down 10bhp from the LP560-4 high performance version. However, that will still be a handful, especially now that the power will go entirely to the rear wheels instead of all four like all other Gallardos.

Lamborghini has also shaved off 30kg from the car, which enables it to rocket from 0-100km/h in just 3.9 seconds.

The car will have a limited run of only 250 units, and will be offered in a range of eight exciting colours, plus a white stripe livery.
