Nissan Qashqai 2.0 (A) Review

Say hello to a new genre of cars. It starts with the Qashqai, Nissan's latest effort to develop the once elusive "mini sport utility". |

An excellent crossover with 2litre smooth cvt engine and sleek exterior with well-defined front presence.
As this is a 06 model, you dont see functions such as bluetooth, side light, usb etc which you can find in other new models.
Since I got it at 74k i think its a steal as the omv is about $29950.

Got this car two weeks ago at $77500. OMV was surprisingly high at $29500. Sound proofing is way better than expected. Moonroof is cool. Gear change is smooth with 6 gear for you to play with. Cornering was better than expected with minimum body roll. Good fuel consumption of 11.5km/L. I wonder how others can get a 13km? i am already a light footer.
Overall worth buying if you do not have a big family because rear seat leg room is small.

Just got this baby at around $75000 the Premium model. It's a good bargain as compared to my 2003 hyundai tucson bought at $82,000. The only thing lacking is the sad 2 Din audio system. Going to change it to a Dvd type soon. I am happy with it! Fuel consumption at the moment is about 13km per litre, very good for a 2.0 litre car. Hope the 1000km servicing will not cause it to change.

This is my second Nissan that I've owned in 3 years. Traded in my Latio for this beast. It is really one unique ride. Lets start from the interior, It is nothing much to shout about the the standard DIN that comes with it. In fact my previous ride, Latio have a better DIN. Anyway that wouldn't stop me from laying my hands on this car. The Premium have nice leather seats with white trims, a full panaromic roof, this was the killer that made my wife said YES to the deal! Keyless system, auto headlights, CVT, solid interior, extremely good sound proofing, comapred to the Civic and CRV, the Qashqai wins hands down on sound proofing. With the full glass roof, rain never sounds the same in your metal roof car again. Stiff suspension, it feels almost like the Subaru Outback. The drive is really exceptional. It is higher than most sedan or wagons on the road. Cornering os just great although the CG is high but it just grips with confidence.
