MINI's new tri-member family will soon be complete - as it gears up for the world premiere of the first-ever MINI Aceman at Auto China 2024, in Beijing.
The covers are set to be pulled off the car at the start of the Show, on 25 April 2024, which will also see the Mini Cooper SE and the MINI John Cooper Works Countryman ALL4 physically present at the brand's booth. The former, in particular, can be expected to be displayed in two different trims: With a British Racing Green exterior in Classic Trim, as well as in the John Cooper Works Trim, which sees a red roof contrasting against its Legend Grey bodywork.
When it is officially unveiled, the Aceman will mark the first electric-only model by the brand - meaning that unlike the Cooper and Countryman, it will not be offered with combustion-powered variants.
The five-door electric crossover has been designated to sit between its two siblings in size, and should come with the latest 'Charismatic Simplicity' interior design language that we've already seen on those two cars.
The launch of the MINI Aceman has been a long time in the making. Long teased by MINI (the concept car even made it to Singapore during the 2024 Motor Show), the crossover most recently completed hot weather testing on its way to finally being revealed in production form. As of now, MINI has confirmed that the car will come in at a total length of 4,075mm, and stretch out to a total width of 1,754mm. It will also be equipped with a 54.2kWh battery.
